Uninstall ESC on your Workstations

Now that the server installation is complete, it is time to update ESC on your workstations. To do this you must first uninstall the existing version of the software. This is completely safe and no data will be lost in the process.

  1. Close any open programs.
  2. Click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
  3. Click Programs and Features. If you are using Windows XP click Add or Remove Programs instead.
  4. Click Electronic Service Control and then click Uninstall on the toolbar. If you are using Windows XP, click Remove instead.

Install ESC on your Workstations

Now that the uninstall is complete, you can download and install the new version of ESC.

  1. Exit all programs on the computer.
  2. Click the button below to download the installation package - ESC Client Only Setup 12.exe. Save the file somewhere you can find it easily (such as your desktop or download folder).


  3. When the download is complete, start the installation by double clicking the downloaded file.
  4. Accept all the defaults as you go through the installation wizard. You do not need to do anything during the course of the wizard other than click the Next button and accept the license agreement.
  5. Click the Finish button at the end of the wizard to launch ESC.
  6. ESC will remember your previous settings, so just login normally.
