Click this button while a task is selected to display a slightly modified Enter Tasks screen. While on this screen, the modifications made to the selected task only affect the selected service agreement. This allows the creation generic tasks that can then be customized by adding sub-tasks, parts, and tools for each agreement. This information will be displayed on printed dispatch tickets that may be printed from dispatches that are generated from the Post Schedule To Dispatch screen.
A Full Tasking Description may be entered here for this task, for this agreement for this customer. For example, a "PM1 - Preventative Maintenance" may have a Full Tasking Description for one agreement for one customer, and the same task may have a different Full Tasking Description for another agreement for another customer.
Sub-Tasks may be entered for this task. For example, a "PM1 - Preventative Maintenance" for this customer’s agreement might consist of a filter change, clean coil, recharge unit and check operating pressures sub tasks. When a dispatch has been created by the Post Schedule to Dispatch function, the sub-tasks can be seen on the Dispatch Entry screen, mobile clients and the printed dispatch.
The Parts needed for this task may also be added. Doing this has many advantages:
Tools may be entered for this service agreement. These may be hand tools that are needed for certain situations, or it might be a crane that is needed for installing a rooftop unit. Tools are entered through Enter Tools on the Utility menu of this Service Agreement Task screen. After they have been entered here, they can then be selected for one or more service agreements.
Note: Modifying a task affects all instances of that task on the current agreement. So if you want to do something different in the fall than you do in the spring - use two different tasks and then modify them both separately.
