ESC Requirements

The specifications indicated here are our recommended minimum requirements. We suggest obtaining as much RAM, processor speed and hard drive space as is possible for the best performance in running ESC and all Windows applications.

Server / Demo Requirements

• Dual Core Processor or faster
• 2 GB Memory (4 GB or higher recommended)
• 4 GB available hard disk space
• TCP/IP – Over a Microsoft Windows Domain or Workgroup
• 32 or 64 bit versions of Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8 Pro, Server 2008 & 2012
• Internet Explorer 8.0 or later, current Virus Protection software
• For Quickbooks or Sage Integrations: A full version of Quickbooks or Sage software must be installed on the server. See Partner Plug-in Requirements below for more details.

Workstation Requirements

ESC Mobile Requirements

Laptops:

• Dual Core processor or faster
• 1GB Memory
• 1GB available hard disk space
• 32 or 64 bit versions of XP (SP3), Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8 Pro
• Wireless Networking Device – Required for remote synchronization

Smartphones & Tablets:

• iOS 6.0 or later
• Android 2.1 or later
• Windows Phone 7 or 8
• Internet connectivity

Partner Plug-in Requirements

QuickBooks Accounting:

• US Editions: QuickBooks 2008 (or later) Simple Start, Pro, Premier, Contractor's Edition, Accountant's Edition, or Enterprise Solutions 8.0 (or later).
• Canadian Editions: QuickBooks 2009 (or later) Pro, Premier or Enterprise. Note: The Canadian multi-currency edition is not supported.

Sage Accounting:

• Peachtree US Editions: 2011 or 2012 Complete, Premium or Quantum
• Sage 50 US Editions: 2013
• Integration license from dESCO

GPS Vehicle Tracking:

• SageQuest truck-mounted hardware
• SageQuest GPS Services
• Integration license from dESCO

Caller ID:

• Whozz Calling Hardware (2, 4, & 8-line phone systems can be connected in series to allow multiple boxes for even more phone lines)
• Integration license from dESCO

Mapping & Routing:

• Microsoft Mappoint 2010 or higher
• Integration license from dESCO

Credit Card Processing:

• Merchant Warehouse account
• Merchant Warehouse encrypted card readers (optional)
